Loutraki 7 day Race 2007 Update – Day 3 –

Day three and the runners have settled into their rhythms and the field is beginning to stretch out. Wolfgang Schwerk is continuing to stretch his lead – now 80 plus miles over Eric Wright, six time winner of the Toyta Dealers 6 Day Circuit race in South Africa who is neck and neck with Conny Bullig who is using this race as preparation for a record attempt in the Erkrath 6 Day race in Germany, July 28th.
The field positions are unchanged from yesterday and the heavy mileage has taken its toll on the leader who added 142 km, 88 miles, to his total, still on course for an awesome performance.

Overall the field is giving an impressive performance with the top 17 averaging at least 65 miles a day. Very inspiring.
