The 24 Hores D’ultrafons En Pista De Barcelona, the Barcelona 24 Hour, is a track event in Spain with the 24 hour taking place in the outer lanes of the track measured at 437,70m and also features 12 and 6 hour events and relays.
The race just drew to a close with 29 runners reaching 100 miles or more.
The race was won by Fernando Soriano Rubio (ESP) with 226.29 km. Russel Arnold(GBR) was second and third was Mark Curtis. Women’s winner was Barbara Campos Vizoso (ESP), fourth overall with 208.35 km. Second woman was Nichola Duffy (IRE) qualifying for the National 24 hour squad and third was Elena Fabiani (ITA) with 194.34 km.
Other Brits in action included Jon Steele, Hardmoors RD who reached 100 miles and Pam Storey, Crawley 24 Hour RD.
