Bereznowska and Bonne set new World Records (oficially known as world best performances, WBF) at the Mount to Coast GOMU World 48 Hour Championships 2025 which drew to a close today today at noon. The event was hosted by the Ultrapark Weekend in Pabianice, Poland.

After taking the lead on the first day Matthieu Bonne (BEL) continued his impressive pace to break the previous world record, Yiannis Kouros’ 473.5km in Surgeres, France in 1996, and the 300 mile barrier to finish with 301.28 with the final part lap still to come.

Patrycja Bereznowska (POL) set a new Women’s 48 Hour World Record to cement her place as Polands greatest multiday athlete with 436.37 km. The previous record was held by Camille Herron (USA) who ran 435.336 km at the Sri Chinmoy 48 Hour Track Festival Canberra in 2023.

Men’s second place finisher, Bartosz Fudali (POL), also improved his own Polish national record and third place Andrzej Piotrowski (POL) added 200km to his previous 48 hour performance who is the current Polish 24 hour record with only Sorokin and Kouros producing better performances at that distance. A very distinguished podium.
