The Self-Transcendence 3100 mile race 2018 is into day three. Unofficial mileages at the end of day 2 are given below. Conditions are very hot and humid. Several runners have had to deal with stomach problems including Yolanda and most runners have made an easy start to accommodate the conditions. Kobi Oren and Vasu Duzhiy are the early frontrunners with Smarana Puntigam lying comfortably in third place. Suras Mairer leads for the women a few lasp ahead of Kannenika Janakova and the Walking Diva is on 116 miles. Weather forecast is for one more day of heat and humidity before a change arrives.
