Self-Transcendence 3100 Mile Race 2017 – Daily Updates – Day 39

Daily Diary
Wednesday 26th July Day 39

Yet another cooler day, and really very good running conditions.
Ananda-Lahari has another “crazy” day covering 160 laps (87.8080 miles). But still in last place. !!!
Even allowing for the good conditions, Kaneenika posts 118 laps for the second day running and moving 3 laps closer to Nirbhasa.
Harita does 109 laps and is virtually on that “red” line”.
Yolanda does her 6th straight 113 laps, keeping apparently sticking to the plan of inching away upwards towards the red line. However there is great drama in her camp as her coach from Australia has flown in for the rest of the event, and her helper over the last few weeks has been “let go”. He was a very experienced multi day runner and he had taken on the advice of the “old hands” i.e. slowly pull back the distance very little by very little day by day. They have never met. So all wait to see what tommorrow will bring.
