The Buff Joust 24 Hour 2017 took place over the weekend of the 1/2 September at the Top Barn Campsite at Top Barn, Holt Heath, just outside of Worcester.
This medieval themed weekend offers a solo event, a pairs event with men, women and mixed categories and team events (3-5 runners, 6-8 runners) who cover a 4.95 mile loop that follows parts of the Severn Way along the river and a mixture of fields, footpaths and quiet lanes. The course is described as “well marked and marshalled, easily navigable and relatively flat.”
Solo winners were Ugis Datavs for the men with 123.75 mile and Georgina Townsend for the women with 103.95 miles.
