Barcelona 24 Hour Race 2011 – Results – Horschig & Christ Win

Kai Horschig was the clear winner at the Barcelona 24 hour race that took place 17th December 2011 at las pistas de Can Dragó. Kai ran 242 km setting a new pb surpassing his 240 he ran at the 2010 World Championships in Breve in 2010. Kai took the lead around mid race and maintained his pace through to the end.

Heike Christ also set a new pb in her excellent performance to take first place among the ladies. Jen Salter from the UK also had a great run with 128 miles qualifying for the UK 24 hour squad for 2012. Rita Buiten from Holland was third lady.
