The next IAU International Ultramarathon events take place in the Netherlands starting with the 8th IAU 50km World Trophy Final. This race takes place on August 20th 2011 in Assen, the Netherlands. Seun Samuel Moleshioa (RSA) and Sue Harrison (GBR) lead the list of qualifiers in the men’s and women’s fields respectively.
Following this event will be the 25th IAU 100km World and Euroepan Championships in Winschoten on September 10th 2011. Please note that August 27th is the last day to sign up for the Masters race in Winschoten being run concurrently in collaboration with the WMA.
This is followed by the Commonwealth Mountain and Ultradistance Running Championships in North Wales from Sept. 23-25th.
