After 8 days in the Self-Transcendence 3100 Mile Race in Queens, New York Atmavir Petr Spacil leads Asprihanal Aalto by 10 miles averaging over 72 miles a day. Asprihanal has been dealing with foot issues but seems to be making a return to form with the daily highest mileage yesterday.
Surasa is 45 miles up on this point last year which must be very encouraging for her and she has a cushion over the minimum daily mileage necessary to finish within the time limit.
