Lindley Chambers posted this on Facebok earlier today (Friday 19th May):
“Final proper meal and civilisation for the three taking on the Monarchs Way tomorrow. 615 miles over 42,000ft of climb and 6 AONB and up to 13 nights sleeping in woods and car parks.
Starting at 10 am tomorrow Chris Yeo, Alan Cormack, and Lee-Stuart Evans will start their attempts to complete the Monarchs Way, England’s longest inland footpath in under 14 days. So averaging a minimum of 44 miles a day cross-country and self-navigating from the start in Worcester all the way to the South coast and the finish at Shoreham. They can be tracked via the trackers supplied by open tracking. “
