I will post a complete race report here later in the week.

Yes, it was an amazing finish! Joe Ninke was running strong and leading all day. Stuart Kern was also strong but several miles behind. Then around 4:00 a.m., Joe slowed dramatically and Stuart “smelled blood.”
He started steadily gaining ground on Joe until he was less than a mile behind. Then (around 6:00 a.m.,) Joe suddenly revived and tore off running fast. From that point until the end neither runner would let up. I truly felt sorry I could not call it a tie and give them both winner plaques. Joe hung on for the win.
