This year on the first weekend of October, the first Self-Transcendence 24 Hour Race in Berlin will take place. Next year this race will take place earlier in the summer, at the same time that the Koln races used to take place as this event will not take place again.
The Race Director, Klaus Schulze, is hoping to attract the same runners who have had no alternative event at that time of the year to the Berlin event. Klaus also hinted that their may be a chance of including a 48 hour in Berlin at some time in the future, but for 2007, the Berlin event is looking to welcome back SCMT friends from around Europe for this inaugural new challenge.
