News of a new event in Ethiopia:
The first “Run the Great Rift Valley” event, a three-day foot endurance race, will take place in Ethiopia from 17-19 February 2010.
“Run the Great Rift Valley” is the first race of its kind in sub-Saharan Africa. During three days, participants will run a 120 km stretch of the Great Rift Valley, through dramatic, remote southern Ethiopia.
“Run the Great Rift Valley” has the full support of the Ethiopian authorities. Medical assistance and aid-points will be provided throughout the race, as well as overnight shelter.
