Perth Ultrafestival

The first Perth ultra festival was held in the lovely Scottish city on the weekend of 13/14th of sept 2008.
The event featured a 24 hour, a 100km and a 12 hour nightime relay.
Inspired by Alan Young (previous Brechin 24 hour organniser and more recently ultra crewman extraordinaire to William Sichel and Tony Mangan amongst others) and Adrian Tarit Stott (Sri Chinmoy Athletic club Self Transcendence 100km and 24 hour collaborator and former G.B 24 hour competitor). Together they worked with Geoff Wightman and his team at Scottish Athletics to put on a great weekend that featured some inspiring performances across the board.
The event was supported by Perth and Kinross council and Run and Become(Scotland’s leading specialist running shop.)
