Freedom Park New Years 24 Hour Run 2011

freedom park new years ultra runThe Freedom Park New Years 24 Hour Run provided another female winner with Anne Riddle-Lundblad providing a world class performance. Anne set a new a new PR and a course record. Raising the bar from 133 miles in 24 hours to 140 miles means that Anne now ranks 4th on the all-time list of North American women at 24 hours. Sabrina Moran who clocked up 102 miles in under 16 and a half hours was second and Annette Bednosky was third.

First man was Mark Rostan with 125 miles, second was David Luljak with 92.68 miles and third was Mike Skara with 92.47 miles.

The 12 hour was won by Paul Starling with 53.89 and the winning lady, fifth overall, was Jodie Strong with 39.94.

41 runners took part in the whole event.
