12th Sagebrush Shuffle 9 Hour Endurance Run 2011

Long time pillar of the US ultrarunning scene, Mark Dorion, hosts a bunch of low key ultramarathon races in the El Paso area throughout the year.
A little advance warning …
This is a scenic, runnable route– 2 mi paved, 3-4 miles old jeep roads, the balance single-track trails.

SAGEBRUSH SHUFFLE (12th annual)
Sat. Dec. 3, 2011. 7:30 a.m. start.
Near Vado, NM (between El Paso, TX and Las Cruces, NM)

9 Hour Endurance Run-Walk through high desert canyons and arroyos.

Two miles paved> 12 mile out-back on trails, repeat 12 mile, then on to shorter loops. Final twisting, rolling 1.5 mile loop until time expires.

Water and drinks at regular intervals, snacks at central parking area, raffle prizes, meal afterwards.
