Less than a week now remains before the start of the 14th Self-Transcendence 3100 mile race. This annual event around a .544 mile loop in the heart of urban New York has 11 runners this year aiming to complete the 3,100 miles in the 52 day time limit.
Several new faces including Surasa Paula Mairer from Austria, a very experienced multiday runner with several world best marks and the 1300 mile womens record.
Old friends returning are led by Asprihanal Aalto looking for his 10th finish this year.
