Loutraki 7 day Race 2007 Update – Schwerk on the Rampage

The first 5 runners covered almost 100 miles plus in this unique event taking place in Greece with Connie Bullig and Hiroko Okiyama in third and fourth places respectively. In second place after the first day  is Katsuhiro Tanaka on 169 km (105 miles) but roaring away out front is the great Madhupran Wolfgang Schwerk amassing an unbelieveable 143.5 miles.

Imediately one thinks of the 6 Day world record set in Colac in 2005 by Yiannis Kouros at 1036.85 km, 644.268 miles. How will the second day go? This is exciting stuff
