Subject: Juniperwood Ranch 48 Hour, 24 Hour, 50 Mile, Marathon in AZ

Registration is now open for the Juniperwood Ranch Runs in Ash Fork, AZ!
Race distances include a 48 hour, 24 hour, 50 Mile, and Marathon. The 48 hour begins on Friday, April 29 and the others begin on Saturday, April 30.
This event takes place at the rustic and family-friendly Reunion Camp and Juniperwood Ranch Winery on a 1 mile dirt loop. Crews and friends can enjoy horseshoes, volleyball, basketball, and a bistro seating area while seeing their runner every loop. Wine tasting will be available with local flavors including prickly pear, pumpkin, berries, and other native plants.

This event is IAU Bronze Level certified and the course is a USATF certified 1 mile loop on soft dirt. The course is flat with some small rocks and uneven patches, about 8 feet wide. The surface can be seen here:
http://goo.gl/YmamA. Ash Fork is located in northern Arizona, 3 hours from Phoenix at an elevation of 5137 feet. Temperatures are expected to range from the mid-30s to a high of 70. A full aid station will be available every loop, and runners are free to set up personal areas.

Electronic chip timing will be used with a live lap display. The course does not have adequate lighting at night so a headlamp or flashlight will be necessary.
