Dead Sea Ultramarathon 2011 – Jenn Shelton & Al Ghudran Take Honours

The 2011 Dead Sea Ultramarathon (DSUM), is a 50 km ultramarathon held annually every April on the first or second Friday, from Amman to the Dead Sea. It is the main fund raising event for the Society for the Care of Neurological Patients (SCNP) and Amman Road Runners, under the patronage of HRH Prince Raad Bin Zeid, which provides neurological patients with medical aid and covers the costs of necessary surgeries for the needy.

The race took place April 8th 2011 and was won by Sulieman Al Ghudran in 2:59:52. The ladies race was won by US ultrarunner Jenn Shelton in 3:21:16. 100 runners.
