Results will be posted shortly on New York Ultrarunning
So of course when I woke up this morning I wasn’t sure I still wanted to run the 50k, but I had a ride arranged. Then on the way I heard that an old friend had passed away yesterday, this gave me a reason to run and finish. Which I did in 6:36:32 and I dedicated the race to my friend. It was really nice running with some of the old New York ultra runners and though as it happened I ran a lot alone, I did get to spend some time chatting. Everyone seems to have a fun time and there was some competition between the leaders, but I think everyone was pulling for each other. I am really happy to be back on the scene after all these years.
