Chanakhya’s 6 and 10 day sound bite # 6

A warm afternoon with  temp’s in the 70’s, but a strong wind around 24 mph ( 40kph ). The injection of energy that the 6 day runners brought in seems to be waning a  little. In the 10 day race there are groups of runners forming on the board within a few miles of each other. there will be a group of 4 or 5 then a gap of a few miles and another group  of 4 or 5. Some of the  10 dayers are rethinking there  goals and strategies, some of those new to the game are coming to terms with the reality of the task. When I go there I feel as though I am in the thick of it, with  the odd friend asking for advice.
