Today the 7 day race begins at 2 pm at the site of the old Athens airport and will swell the number of runners running the 1 km loop under the hot Greek sun. Wolfgang Schwerk is still in the lead ahead of William Sichel and in the ladies race, the experienced Martina Hausmann is holding off Hiroko Okiyama.
