Atacama Crossing 2025: Stage Two Kicks Off

The Atacama Crossing 2025, a six-day ultramarathon through Chile’s dramatic Atacama Desert, is underway with competitors tackling Stage Two. Following an impressive performance in Stage One, Anton Zyrianov (Neutral) leads the men’s field, while Elise Lagerstrom (USA) has emerged as the top female runner, finishing 7th overall. The race continues to test participants with its diverse and challenging terrain, promising more excitement and endurance feats in the days ahead.

The Racing The Planet’s Atacama Crossing 2025, is a six-stage ultramarathon spanning 250km (155 miles) through Chile’s awe-inspiring Atacama Desert. This grueling yet breathtaking course combines diverse terrains—including salt flats, towering sand dunes, slot canyons, and rugged trails—with ascents and descents that test competitors’ endurance.
