Again three distances:
The course heads out of Pokhara (820 m), 6 hours drive west of Kathmandu, and the popular starting point of the world famous Annapurna Circuit. While slowly climbing on wide trails the views from the Dhampus ridge are spectacular. On popular trekking trails you run to Pitam Deurali (2100 m), through Landruk and the Modi river, then up the long steep climb to Ghandruk (1940 m). The 50 km finishes at Birethanti. The 70 and 100 km continue from Ghandruk up to Tadapani and Bhurungdi khola before heading steeply up to Deurali (3210 m) with absolutely fabulous views of Annapurnas and the Manaslu rang. From Ghorepani you run a section of the Great Himalaya Trail lower route. The 100 km runners continue the circuit to Pokhara via Kavre, the long Naudanda ridge and a final stretch along the town’s beautiful lake.

The 100 was won by Sudip Rai in 12:05hrs and Lizzy Hawker was first lady.
