A Viewpiont
On the weekend of July 28/29 the 24 hour World championships will be held in Drummondville, Quebec, Canada. According to the event site there will be 172 runners from 26 countries participating, it should be quite an event. There is also an open 24 hour race which will go on at the same time. I was encouraged by an old friend and a new friend to sign up for this race. So I will be there to run in one race while at the same time being able to observe the World Championships as they unfold. I am hoping that I will get a chance to talk to some of the runners during my time there and will include some of what is said in future posts. I will however write something of my thoughts and observations when I return, so look out for something from me in about 3 1/2 weeks from now.
