Self-Transcendence 3100 Mile Race Day 10

Hot and Sticky

The temperature was very similar to the first day  in the high 80’s but the humidity was not so bad. However when I talked to a few of the runners this evening they told me they were feeling a little sapped, so the humidity had worked it’s magic on them quietly during the day.

Asprihanal reached the 700 mile mark at around 6 this evening, which gives him a time that is comparable to the times he was running when he was in the old 700 mile race a few years ago. So you can see that he is moving at quite a good pace. Though the day was a little tougher than the previous 4 or 5 days I think that the runners are managing to handle it better.
