Yesterday was day 32 of the 64 stage Trans-Europa race and after having run across Germany for several weeks from South to North, today entered Sweden. Race leaders Rainer Koch and Hiroko Okiyama have been consolidating their leads with Rainer holding an 8 hour lead over Rene Strosny who is battling it out with Takasumi Senoo, just 22 minutes behind him. Hiroko has a 24 hour lead over second placed Furuyama Takako who herself has an 11 hour cushion over Elke Streicher.
