A Strange Day
Well at least for me it seemed like a strange day. It is the day after Independence Day and it was really quiet, it was overcast most of the time and the Sun tried to peek out in the afternoon. It was also deceptively humid all day which I think fooled some of the runners. One of our chiropractor friends came out to make a visit and the runners were eagerly waiting to get treated. Petr Spacil had passed 1000 miles just before the end of the day on day 18. today it was Abichal Watkin’s turn and just before 2 hours was up he made it. Which leaves Suprabha Beckjord ( the only woman in the race ) to pass that goal tomorrow. The leader is already over 1300 miles.
