Self-Transcendence 3100 Mile Race 2017 – Daily Updates – Day 36

Daily Diary
Sunday 23rd July – Day 36
A much cooler and overcast day.
Vasu seemed to like the cooler day and was best of the day with 122 laps. Nirbhasa and Kaneenika each have 115 laps so the gap stays the same. Harita does 111 laps and is only 2 miles below that line. Yolanda again does 113 keeping her hopes alive, with helper coming tomorrow and the prospect of cooler weather the next few days will perhaps bring her closer.
Andrey just overtakes Sergey by one lap.
Nidhruvi enjoys the cooler day to record 99 laps
It is Arpan DeAngelo 65th birthday and he takes part in a 6 hour race then does laps of the course to give a total of 65 miles, the same figure as his age, to keep up this tradition. Rewarded with a lovely cake. He lives locally, a former participant, and a great helper at the race.
