The Running Festival Johannesburg 2015 got underway December 28th with the 6 day race currently being led by Christian Maudit after Johan van der Merwe set the early pace. Indeed a Facebook post suggests that Johan van der Merwe has pulled out due to a hamstring injury though his mileage seems to have increased a little since that time.
Hester Fortune leads the women and is lying fourth overall.
