Gérard Cain, the inspiration and visionary behind the French Ultra Festival which has been a staple for multiday runners in France for the best part of the last decade has just announced that there are plans to hold “6 Days In France” 2014.
The event will take place in Villefranche sur Mer which is a mere 8 km from Nice city centre September 24.

For its 9th edition , the next six days take place on a magical place of the “French Riviera” .
With the support of the city of Villefranche sur Mer, ” and 42,195 ” host 28 September to 4 October 2014 the ” 6 Days in France” on the Promenade des Marinières association.
A very powerful one kilometer loop …
With the ” 6 Days in France” , ultra marathon will enter the heart of the city. Located on the beachfront in the middle of the public, the circuit of a mile completely flat with few turns, offer great opportunities for participants in order to achieve great mileage performance .
A great opportunity to make this discipline to discover athletes who practice and getting into people’s hearts through their athletic and mental performance , but also because of their human qualities and availability contact the public.
With this first in Villefranche sur Mer, the team of volunteers and I are proud to host this 6 days and we all know that big test will be born and continue on the Promenade des Marinières hope in September 2014.
