The first Perth Ultra Festival took place last weekend in Scotland with 24 hour and a 100km races plus other events.
The mens 24 hour race was won by Stephen Mason (Dundee Hawkhill), with 148.755 miles and the ladies race was won by Pauline Walker setting a new Scottish record of 130.345 miles (209.770km).
The races were held to see if it was possible to hold the IAU World 24 hour championships at some point in the future.
