The Buffalo Trace seven day race is a low key fat-ass style multiday race – no fees, no aid, no counters, no awards. Taking place on a 5-mile trail located in Mahomet, IL at Lake of the Woods Forest Preserve. Mahomet is about 10 miles west of Champaign-Urbana on I-74.
The race started at 5 am on May 24th and the days stage ended at 10pm each day as the park is officially closed at night.
13 runners took part including Coach Tracy Thomas who covered 335 miles.
