Then first 1000 mile race for 6 or 7 years takes place starting today in Athens, Greece. 15 runners have arrived from all over Europe including Wolfgang Schwerk and Hiroko Okiyama and a host of well known names come to compete in this inaugural event. The 7 day day and 24/48 hour races will complete this European festival par excelence.
