On December 17th, 2011, Michael Micaletti improved his record of the world on 6 days treadmill ( from 814 to 816 km) during the 6 days of Artaix. Micaletti was one of the treadmill runners at the French Ultra Festival in Antibes last year where he set the then current World record.

Sharon Gayter set a new 7 day world record in December surpassing Lee Chamberlains record of 468 miles and finishing up with 517 miles.
Petri Perttilä also set a Finnish 24 hour record in December with 238.46 km.
Starting on the 22 of February 2012 will be the Worlds first 48 hour tradmill race with 6 European runners taking part in Evreux. Ultrathletic.fr/
