The 3 Days At The Fair 2016 is underway at the Sussex County Fairground in New Jersey. The event feautures 72/48/24/12/6 hour races, a 50k and a marathon.
The course is a 1 mile flat loop on pavement and crushed gravel (approx 5% gravel), lit at night with all amenities including a kitchen.
The event first took place in 2010 and several records have been set there in the seven years since including Phil McCarthy’s American 48 hour record of 414 km set in 2011
This year the mens race is being led at the 52 hour point by Serge Arbona with 225 miles followed by Clayton Bouchard on 202 and John Fegyveresi has 194 miles.
In the womens 72 hour race Ella Lombardi leads with 150 miles, second place is Darlene Kresse with 138 miles and third is Wendy Murray currently on 129 miles.
