Ciao,
Bram van der Bijl
P.S. Last Sunday I finished 9th (3.40.50) in the Marathon Col de Maasbanda in Stein, the Netherlands. There was 975 m positive and negative elevation.
This Sunday I will participate in a 100 km-run for the 1st time in my life. 250 laps on a 400 m-track. I don’t feel too confident, :-))))))))
*** After 6 hours I had covered 57.6 km (144 laps). As I was ‘running’ a 5 miles/hour pace at that moment I decided to call it a day, as my progress was too slow in my opinion in order to get the ‘job’ done within the 11-hour time-limit. The race was won by Math Roberts 8.30.58, our national champion 100 km and 24 hours. Claudia Weber from Germany won the ladies-division (9.34.04). There were 27 starters. 20 participants finished within the 11-hour time-limit.

P.S. After almost 30 years I am possibly still running, because I never did too much racing.
