Nanny Goat 24/12 Hour Race 2017 finished earlier today in Riverside, California. The course is a flat, one mile dirt loop on a private horse ranch with three different surface types – asphalt, dirt, and turf.
The whole event which also included a team event drew 166 runners with 96 in the 24 hour.
The prelimnary results indicate that the Nanny Goat 24 hour was won by David Brunken with 111 miles and womens winner was Colleen Zato with 102. However, the 100 mile race was won by Jack Cheng in 19:20:59 and it looks like he carried on to cover 112 miles, so its not clear who won the 24 hour at this point. The womens 100 mile winner was Hanh Larson second overall, in 21:57:18.
Kristina Pham was the outright winner in the 12 hour race with 64 miles and first man was Marcel Llopis with 59 miles.
