Sun is still shining in Preston though the sun is dropping low in the west now and its a little cooler but still very pleasant conditions for the runners and helpers.
Positions remain unchanged though the miles are mounting. Nicholas Turner still leads for the men and Helen James leads for the women.
Alistair Jewell, the race directors son is currently lying in 8th place in his first 6 day race with 61.6 km and there are several other first timers.
