The EMU – Unix 6 Day Race is at the 28 hour point in Balatonfured in Hungary. Currently leading is South African Johan van de Merwe with 235 km. Multiday master Wolfgang Schwerk is in second place with 206 km and third is Trond Sjåvik on 190 km.
In the ladies race Sharon Gayter who was leading early on has been stopped for 8 hours or so, waiting for news on that. Leading lady is Krisztina Nagyné on 166 km. In second is Silke Gielen with 157 km and third is Barbara Becker from Germany with 150 km.
William Sichel’s blog is being updated by Shaun and has updates from time to time. There is a streaming webcam on the front of multidays.com (though it does have an annoying 30 sec ad first) and the live scoreboard and webcam can viewed at:

Sharon Gayter was forced to give up the race due to uncontrollable stomach issues.
