Saturday 4 runners in the Self-Transcendence 3100 mile race currently taking place in New York passed 1000 miles on their long journey. Asprihanal Aalto, Petr Spacil, Galya (Vladimir) Balatskyy and Pranjal Milovnik all made it into 4 figures in under 15 days.
Bill Pearl dropped by the race and there’s a nice photo of him on Utpals blog, Perfection-Journey– Its hard to believe Bill is 80!!!
Utpal’s blog has some excellent posts about the runners and their experiences and thoughts by the race personnel and if anyone is contemplating running the 3100 then these posts, as well as last years posts, contain enough information to portray life at the race as well as can be expressed.
Amazingly, Stutisheel and Pranjal are both maintaining blogs during the race.
Today, Wednesday 30th June, second spot has been taken by Galya closely followed by Pranjal.
