The first 1000 mile race for 6 years will be hosted in Athens, Greece in 2010. Taking place in Loutraki where for the last 4 years Costas Baxevanis has been going from strength to strength in organising a comprehensive running extravaganza.
2010 will see a 24 hour, a 48 hour and 72 hour events plus the 7 day race all within the 15 day period allowed for the runners to complete 1000 miles.
British runner William Sichel, the 2009 champion will return in 2010 along with Finland’s Seppo Leinonen, Michel Gouin from Canada and Martina Hausmann from Germany.

Minimum 50 miles a day, course is a flat asphalt loop and starts March 15-31.
