RAW Africa Namibia is heating up rapidly and so is the competitor list.
Both Tring 2 Town and the Thames Path Ultra promise to be the some the best races that the UK Ultra Community has seen in years. Subtle changes to RAW Scandinavia.
Lastly, in the Hot Seat this month, we have top AR journalist and athlete, Lisa de Speville, shedding some light on her AR career in Africa and abroad.

Test your limits in the land of the midnight sun – 110 Miles non stop running – one Stage over 46 hours
If you are excited by the prospect of running RAW in pure unspoilt nature, testing your limits in one of the most remote wilderness terrains left on this planet, challenging yourself in the land where the sun forgets to set, then RAW Scandinavia in the Arctic Circle is the race for you. Two days and 110 miles of non-stop self sufficiency over the Kungsleden, in the Swedish Lapland.
The Swedes love the concept, the race, the exposure, the media and you – the runners. They do however have concerns to preserve the outstanding natural beauty of the area; it’s called the Kings Trail because the king of Sweden decreed that the area should be kept that way, untouched for eternity. As Ambition events follows the “leave no trace” ethos under consultation with the Swedish government we agreed to alter the race slightly. It will still be a 110 mile adventure through spectacular scenery, it will still not be easy and we can still confidently guar.antee you a life changing experience.

Competitors carry their kit and food for 5 days in their backpacks during the ultimate Desert Adventure.
Nestled in the varied crags of the Hajar Mountains, the Hatta Rock Pools unfold its rocky corridors with bursting waterfalls and turquoise pools. Venture through the narrow passageways to find spring-fed pools that are yet to be discovered. Only half an hour from the ancient village of Hatta, this oasis is a hidden gem.

Competitors, who have completed any previous RAW event, qualify for special rates for RAW Mid-East.

Introducing the Corporate Tri-Challenge…
Ambitions’ Corporate Triathlon Relay Challenge is a unique series of 2 day events for corporate executives who lead a focused, ambitious and balanced lifestyle mixing work, rigorous training programs and family life.
Executives will attend an executive management and leadership conference, featuring top business leaders and sports personalities and will then battle it out with rival organizations in a Team Relay (800M Swim, 10KM Run, 40 KM Cycle) .

RAW Africa Namibia

Raw Africa will take place in the pitiless surrounds of the Namib Desert through the famous Sossusvlei salt pan and on to some of the highest sand dunes on the planet. Heat, height and sand combine to make this a truly exceptional challenge in the most spectacular of surroundings.
Night Day Marathon
