Self-Transcendence 3100 Mile Race 2017 – Daily Updates – Day 15

Daily Diary
Sun 2nd July
Routine and rhythm continue. If not required to lap record, I get finished at 11pm and get lights out by 11:45pm.
Up at 4am to shower and shave, no doubt personal hygiene is very important for both body and mind.
Today the warmest and from as early as 10 am the temperature rises into the 90’s reaching 92F / 35% by 2 pm
Most runners appear to be coasting through this period , and work hard in the cool of the late evening.
Highlights:
1) Vasu reaches 1000 miles in 14 days 11 hours 56 mins 41 secs
2) Sergey continues his strong progress. And passed Harita to  go 5th. No mean feat as she continues with her 14th day over the magic 109 laps, this has the look of an epic jewel between two first timers.
