Patrick Malandain’s 10,000 km run around France has reached the 70th stage today and he is running from Châteauroux – Le Blanc, some 97.431km according to his schedule.
Yesterday Patrick completed 101.99km in 14h 30min 22s to bring his total distance so far to 6857,56 km. After falling a little behind in the early stages, Patrick has been gradually making up the ground by running a few km extra each day.
Having previously run across France, the US and from Le Havre to Istanbul in Turkey, Patrick is aiming to run 10,000 km in less than 127 days, trying to beat the last known record held by Australian Dave Alley (2015).
