- The World Harmony Run is a worldwide relay run that carries a torch in relay style through more than 100 countries. Founded by Sri Chinmoy in 1987 as the Peace Run, this outreach project has grown to touch hundreds of thousands of people, children, runners and celebrities and politicians in an effort to demonstrate the reality that we all share this world, we are all responsible for this world and it is up to us as individuals and collectively to make a step for Peace and Harmony in our own lives and in the world.
