Start Time
- 8:00 am
Location
- Start/finish at Nathan Dean Sports Complex, Rockmart, GA (45 miles northwest of downtown Atlanta)
Course
- Out and back of 25km on a flat, paved bike path (closed to vehicular traffic), winding its way along the "Silver Comet Trail" through the quiet countryside.
Time Limit
- 8 hours (intermediate cut-off of 4 hours at 25KM)
Facilities
- Parking and restrooms at start/finish. Additional restrooms along course.
Aid Stations
- Five aid stations, with variety of food, drink and support
Fees
- $40 postmarked by January 1st; $60 thereafter (including race day registration). GUTS members receive a $5 discount. No refunds.
Championships
- 2007 RRCA Georgia State 50K Championship. Overall man/woman open, masters, grandmasters awards.
Awards
- Women & men: top 3 overall, 1st masters&grandmasters (no doubling of awards). No age group awards.
