The Goliath Expedition [[Karl Bushby]]'s Record breaking attempt to walk around the world with unbroken footsteps. The term Journey runner refers to people who undertake a long journey for personal reasons and not commercial though are often fund raisers for particular charities such as Paula Duncans recent hike along the Great Divide.

Marathon365 Richard Bottram is running a marathon distance everyday for a year. 365 marathons in aid of Cancer research and direct support. Richard began his odyssey on July 30th 2006.

Where's Dean Dean Karnazes, having just completed 50 marathons in 50 days in 50 days finishing at the NYC marathon, is running back to San Francisco.

Paula Duncan has finished solo-hiking 1200km of the Great Divide Trail from the Canada-USA border at Waterton (in Alberta), to Kakwa Lake Provincial Park (in British Columbia) raising money for Child Haven International
