As well as being an ultrarunner, Ingo Schulze has a lot of experience as a Race Director having organised the TransEurope-Footrace a 5,000 km adventure across Europe commencing in Lissabon, Portugal and finishing in Moscow, Russia.The Spreelauf and most recently the Deutschlandlauf.
2012
In 2012 Ingo is organising another Trans-Europe footrace starting in Skagen in Denmark and finishing in Gibraltar averaging approximately 65 km a day with a total of 4,200 km. The event will start on the 19th of August 2012 and has 64 daily stages.

Ingo has produced two books about the Transe Europe 2003 and Transeuropalaufs 2009 .
